PickPic A Mobile Image Editor Application

I don't know how much image editor that has been flooding the internet today. But i do know that many of us still use the old and sexy photoshop as our main image editor, right ? Lets face it..the photoshop have a very complete usage for us. But yet the main flaw was photoshop is not portable.

Actually there are some compact and portable form of photoshop that can be downloaded from the internet. But then again.. I don't believe that a portable photoshop is as effective as the full version.

People now starting to travel a lot and move from one place to another one. This is what i called a "mobile condition". Notebook and cell phone are the symbols of how people on this new millennium intend to spent their time more outdoor than indoor. If we are referring to image editor, some of us feel very disappoint if we can't upload, edit, create, or changes the look of our image at that exact moment.

When i first try the PickPic editor on my netbook, i don't expect much from that tiny apps. But when i used it on a daily basis, soon i see the quality of the software. This little software allows us to capture an image, edit an image, change the size, gives an effect, and even create a new high-quality image. Speeding Computer Using Speeder XP

Actually with 2Gb installed on my computer as a memory, i do not need to worry about my computer running too slow or decreasing it's speed. But i like to tweak my pc so much. So i decide to try some of software to boost my computer speed more.

That is when i stumble upon a software called speeder xp...

I really don't know how this software works but it makes my computer runs like in a speed of light. Once when i try to copy 4Gb file into one of my folder, the speed of the copying process increases for more like 10+ times. First i was shock. The process itself usually takes about 5 minutes before the software installed but now..it only takes me 1 minutes to wait.

When i started knowing the internet a couple years ago, the first activities that i've been doing was downloading movie. Any movie. Everytime i saw a punch line on a movie theatre, i soon try my luck to find that movie on the internet.

The time i got the link, i soon activate my favorite internet download manager and get the free downloaded movie on my harddisk.

There are a lot of different kinds movie on the internet. But nowadays, people are more sophisticated. Back on the old days, we only know a few type of video file, such as :.mpg, .avi, .dat, or wmv. Maximizing Your Old Pc

Whether it’s a desktop computer or a laptop, whether or not it’s broken, and no matter how old it is, it can still be useful to you or someone else. Some people pay less attention on this one. Create a Digital Photo Frame
If your old laptop screen is OK and if either the hard drive or CD/DVD drive are working, you can use it to build a cheap digital photo frame. With a working wireless connection you could even make it show your latest Flickr photos.

Amazing Trick On System Graphic Performance

ATI and nVidia each offer free tools to overclock some of their higher-end video cards. This tweak doesn't require any BIOS tuning and can boost your system's graphics performance. Gamers will see smoother video as a result of the faster speed. Update your graphics board's drivers before you begin.

In the nVidia Control Panel, click Device settings under Performance. Click GPU, select Custom, and raise the clock speed by moving the slider, testing the results each time for glitches.

For ATI cards, launch the Catalyst Control Panel. Click Auto-Tune in the Overdrive section. This option gradually increases the clock speed and tests each one in sequence. When it detects instability, it backs off, settling on the previous rate.

Increasing Wireless Access Speed

Actually a wireless works well with their default setting. But i found some tweaks that can easily improve it's speed and performance. Here are a few quick changes that can easily boost your results.

To preserve compatibility, Wi-Fi routers let original, 802.11b clients join higher speed networks; the combination is called a mixed network. But part of grandfathering in the old technology slows 802.11g clients to those old speeds. Why run your 2008 gear at 1999 speeds? If you're only using .g--or .n--hardware, set the router to only broadcast on that protocol. If you have a mixture of old and new hardware, especially .b, add an additional, dedicated router for those clients.

Making Your Laptop As A Wi-fi Hotspot

Transforming your laptop into a wireless router is easy. You just need to set up an ad hoc wireless network and sharing your wired gateway. Here's how it works.

First, plug the ethernet cord into your laptop. To create a new ad hoc network, be sure to enable Internet Sharing on your laptop by checking the box labeled Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection in the Advanced tab of your connection's Properties menu. But you must know that setting up from here works different on either XP or Vista.

Solution For Slow Internet Access

When this problem occurs, i always check the power-cycle of my modem and router. In other words, disconnecting the power cords from both, wait about 10 seconds, and then plug them back in. In a minute or two, my network will be up and running again, and my Internet access might be its good old speedy self.

For example, you might have a spyware problem. Windows' Internet settings might be FUBAR (or at least less than optimal). If you're connecting via a wireless router, there could be range issues (see How to Troubleshoot Your Home Network for help with that one).

In most cases, however, it's probably just a router and/or modem in need of rebooting. For the record, my neighbor told me the power-cycling trick worked like a charm. Installing WiFi to a Very Old Laptop

If your laptop has a PC card slot, it should be able to take a wireless PC card. (If the laptop is old enough, the slot may be called PCMCIA. However, you should check the requirements for the card before buying it. Modern cards may require more powerful hardware than your old PC.

The drivers are another issue. I very much doubt that any card made today has Windows 95 drivers. Or even Windows 98. But again..you should check it. That doesn't mean you can't find such cards. Google wireless pc card and your version of Windows, and you're likely to find some very promising hits.

Easy Download Youtube And All Streaming

I know that people love to watch video streaming from youtube. So do i. But at the beginning i'm having some kinda trouble with my internet connection so i can not watch the video that i like.

Then i tried to find a way to download the video directly from youtube. The only way that i found after spending hours on google was to get a specified download manager like youtube downloader for me to be able to download from youtube.

Meanwhile ... i already have a downloader manager installed on my computer. Then i think to myself " why do i must use more than one downloader ?". Installing another downloader to my pc system can probably make one of the other downloader become unstable. For a while i didn't find any answer for this problem.

EffectiveTips For Making Your PC Faster

There are a lots of tips that can make your pc works faster and better scattered all over the internet. But i recently have tried some of it and declared this list as the most effective tips for tweaking our pc the right way. Please note that some of this tips works better on windows 98. So let's start tweaking.

This tips should be implemented on a low RAM pc and slow connection pc. The way this trick works is all depend on how you accurately implement it.

 1. Wallpapers: They slow your whole system down, so if you're willing to compromise, have a basic plain one instead!. Basically reducing the size and usage of a wallpaper for your appearance can make your desktop responds better.

2. Drivers: Update your hardware drivers as frequently as possible.  New drivers tend to increase system speed especially in the case of graphics cards, their drivers are updated by the manufacturer very frequently! But be careful that this sort of thing can also have some side effect.

3. Minimizing: If you want to use several programs at the same time then minimize those you are not using.  This helps reduce the overload on RAM. Remember people that RAM control the performance of your pc.

4. Boot Faster: The 'starting Windows 95/98' message on startup can delay your booting for a couple of seconds.  To get rid of this message go to c:\ and find the file Msdos.sys.  Remove the Read-Only option.  Next, open it in Notepad or any other text editor.  Finally, go to the text 'Options' within the file and make the following changes: Add BootDelay=0.  To make your booting even faster, set add Logo=0 to remove the Windows logo at startup.

5. Restart only Windows: When restarting your PC, hold down Shift to only restart Windows rather than the whole system which will only take a fraction of the time.

6. Turn Off Animations:  Go to Display Settings from the Control Panel and switch to the Effects Tab. Now turn off Show Windows Content While Dragging and Smooth Edges on Screen Fonts.  This tip is also helpful with Windows XP because of the various fade/scroll effects.
